Our People
We believe that every person is capable of good. Founded on strong principles of equality and mutual social empowerment, CanDo enterprises was established to address the lack of practical training and employment opportunities for vision impaired and blind people. Our blended team includes four fantastic people who have been welcomed into the labour market through our natural cosmetics business.
Our Marketing
Our trainees and staff feature in our brochures and social media only if they want to, and with no pretense. We celebrate the uniqueness of everyone we work with and don’t feel a need to show a tailored and "best" version of ourselves. Authenticity is what matters to us when it comes to showing who we are. We understand that there is far more to the world than meets the eye.
Our Environment
We understand that people and the environment are inexorably linked, and that what we do impacts upon everyone around us. That's why we choose to work with natural and ethically-sourced ingredients, and select only recyclable or reusable packaging options. We keep our carbon footprint low and are working to offer product refills in the coming months.
Our Logo
Our CanDo logo features the braille that some of our team use. It’s a small reminder of how we all read the world differently and should include one another when it comes to accessible design. One of our goals for 2025 is to include braille on the packaging for
our whole product range.
Our Vision
We have a vision of the future where every person without exception has access to the good things in life. This includes professional opportunities, housing, healthcare, financial stability, social connection, creativity and rest. We don't see why disability should leave people with less - that's why every decision we make upholds principles of equality and integration for our team members and our broader community.
